Foods high in refined sugars, unhealthy fats, and artificial additives can lead to inflammation throughout the body, including the brain. This can result in brain fog, mood swings, and a general feeling of sluggishness that makes it difficult to discern subtle intuitive nudges. The rapid spikes and crashes in blood sugar from these foods also create instability that can interfere with mental and emotional balance.
2. Overeating and Constant Snacking
When our digestive system is constantly working overtime, a significant amount of energy is diverted to digestion. This can leave less energy for higher cognitive functions and inner awareness. Overeating can also lead to a feeling of heaviness and discomfort, making it harder to feel light, clear, and receptive to intuitive insights.
